 Sometimes
during Baby Food Tastings, parents ask me how I went from serving
as a Marine on the U.S.S. Pellieu in the Persian Gulf to worrying
about the texture of the next batch of Squapples in our Homemade
Baby kitchen. For me, the Marine – Le Cordon Bleu connection
is simple: it’s about a passion for excellence.
When the Marines’ galley got up to 130 degrees, and giant waves
rocked the ship and I had to get the steak just right for some
visiting diplomat, I still couldn’t wait to see the reactions
officers and dignitaries gave me when I cooked them a good
meal.
I get that same satisfaction today. Only now I get to see those
reactions on the faces of children. Below are just a few of
the happy faces that have visited our Baby Food Tasting Room.

to be perfect!
