There are a lot of things to deal with when raising and infant. It can be pretty overwhelming at times! But nothing is worse than seeing your kid in pain. Any parent would do anything to help them.

The most common rash for babies is diaper rash. This is caused my excess moisture and friction. But that’s not the only kind. A baby’s skin is brand new. There is much to be developed and this leaves it open for more problems. As you child grows it’s skin will toughen up and won’t have as many problems.
Many kinds of rashes will eventually clear up on their own. But who wants to wait? When rashes are left unchecked they can get out of hand and cause some serious discomfort. it’s smarter to tackle them head on. Lets go over how to get rid of them.
Getting Rid of Rashes
There are a few things you can do to help speed up healing rashes. You want to keep the affected area clean and dry, while also promote healing. Here is how to do it:
- Clean the area with a genital soap. This will clean up any bacteria.
- Completely dry the area. Start with patting it with a towel so not to irritate things further. Then let air dry for several minutes.
- Use a baby cream that promotes healing. If you want what we use this is the best baby lotion.
A good baby lotion will speed up the healing process by providing the nutrients the body skin needs. Just be sure to use an organic lotion to avoid any harmful chemicals. And make sure it isn’t so thick that it clogs the skin.
You can use a cold towel to help sooth the area, but make sure it gets completely dry after. If diapers are causing the rash then changes them often to keep any excess moisture from building up, you want the skin to breath.

Preventing Infant Rashes
The best way to beat rashes to to prevent them from ever popping up. Since there are so many things that can cause skin irritation it’s important to be aware of what your child comes into contact with. Maybe they are allergic to something in the detergent you are using.? What if they have eczema? Are those baby wipes full of alcohol?
Be aware of what have caused rashes in the past and eliminate possible sources. You should also talk to your doctor if they are frequent. They can help test for any allergies that may be cause them.
Stick to as many organic product as possible will help eliminate a long list of potential sources. It is rare that humans react to natural baby products. Chemicals on the other hand can be a large source of problems for you infant.
